Day 1: Singapore / Beijing (DINNER)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to the capital of China-Beijing. Upon arrival, you will visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall for the People and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall are the main sites on the Square.
Day 2: Beijing (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Today's Highlight will surely be the Great Wall-one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements. First built during the spring and autumn period (770-467 BC), and extended from dynasty to dynasty, it metres for some 6400KM, across mountains and valleys to keep the barbarians out and maintain the serenity of the 'Middle Kingdom'. After lunch, view the Olympic Park, outside National Swimming Complex- the Water Cube and the Main Stadium-Birdnest for Beijing Olympic 2008.
Day 3: Beijing (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Start the day by visiting the Forbidden City also known as Imperial Palace, once the home of the emperors. Within the Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace. It is a remarkable complex of palaces and halls comprising 9000 rooms. Next is the Deshengmen Tower. Next proceed to the immaculate Summer Palace, also known as Yiheyuan by taking a Kunyu River Cruise. This Imperial Garden covers an area of 290 hectares. Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake are the few beautiful sites in Summer Palace.
Day 4: Beijing – XI’AN (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Depart by domestic flight to Xi’an, one of the most important ancient capitals in China. Upon arrival, visit the largest ancient castle site in the world- Xi’an Ancient City Wall, which is more than 600 years old. Next stop at the Grand Cien Temple. The famous monk in the Tang Dynasty, master Xuan Zang is the first abbot of this temple, and his story recorded in the chefdoeure “Xi You Ji”. Wide Goose Pagoda is one main site in this temple, used to keep sutra. It Is also the symbolic building of Xi’an City.
Day 5: Xi’an (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to the Eighth Wonder of the world – Terra Cotta Warrior located at Emperor Qin’s Terra Cotta Museum. This museum is not only a treasure house where the tourist can learn history, culture and human civilization, but also the biggest onsite museum in China. In the afternoon, visit Huaqing Hot Spring, which was the sap venue exclusively for Yang Guifei, one of the four most beautiful women in history. Maybe we can find some hints for staying young and pretty from this place.
Day 6: Shanghai (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, depart by domestic flight back to Beijing. Upon arrival proceed to visit the Temple of Heaven, which was used for worshipping the heavens and prayer for good harvest by the Ming and Qing dynasty. Next visit Lama Temple, it is Beijing’s largest lama temple. This Lama Temple was built as a mansion for Emperor Yongzheng in the Qing dynasty when he was a prince. In 1744, the temple was converted into a lamasery and the home of larger numbers of monks from Mongolia and Tibet. After that, make a stop a Yaxiu Market for your shopping spree.
Day 7: Shanghai - Singapore (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/MEAL ON BOARD)
After breakfast, proceed to Happy Valley, it is stylish, dynamic, fun, fantastic charm, has become an important symbol of Beijing Tourism in Asia’s largest theme park (price: 50/pax), if not visit Happy Valley, you can free shopping, after lunch transfer to the airport. Depart by International flight back to Singapore.
